Marion L. Stern

Marion L. Stern joined the firm in 2010 after graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law. At KU Law, Ms. Stern focused on Business Planning by obtaining her Business and Commercial Law Certificate.

While in law school, Ms. Stern started her legal career by clerking for the Honorable Michael Malone in the Douglas County District Court in Lawrence where she gained extensive research and writing experience. After the clerkship position, Ms. Stern interned for the Johnson County Kansas District Attorney in Olathe for the Juvenile and Economic Crimes Units where she gained extensive courtroom experience.

In addition to her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Stern graduated with her B.A. from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa where she graduated with honors in Russian and high honors in History. While at the University of Iowa, Ms. Stern wrote her History Honors Thesis on Russian-Chechen Geopolitics, founded the History Club, and studied abroad in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Ms. Stern is licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas and is authorized to appear in all of the courts of Kansas including to the federal United States District Court for Kansas. Ms. Stern is also licensed to practice in the United States Courts for the Western District of Missouri. She is a member of the Kansas Bar and the Johnson County Bar Association.
